Description:

In response to an identified need for comprehensive riparian habitat mapping of the Tehama Creek and Elder Creek watersheds, AFRP requests submission of proposals for riparian habitat mapping and veg classification of the Thomes Creek and Elder Creek watersheds, particularly in the areas of the foothills and the valley floor portions of the watershed. These two watersheds lie in western Tehama County. . The goal of the mapping study is to inventory and characterize riparian community types, document species composition and distribution, and monitor for the presence of non-native invasive species within the Thomes and Elder Creek watersheds, as well as some small streams that lie within these two creeks.
